worry

“I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. ” Psalms 3:5-6

Does worry ever keep you up at night? Maybe it doesn’t right now, but did you have money in the market back when it was crashing in 2008 and 2009? Maybe it was that time you had to wait for the results from the doctor. What ever it was, we can all relate to not being able to sleep well because of worry.

I regularly cover issues that are likely to trigger another serious economic downturn, not in hopes that people will worry, but that they will hedge themselves and not have to worry. However, it is impossible to completely hedge yourself from all the disasters in life.

The best thing we can do to hedge ourselves from worry is to stay in a close relationship with God through prayer and reading His Word. This instills faith which is the opposite of worry. It will give you the ability to lie down in the midst of the storm and say, “I lie down and sleep… because the Lord sustains me.”

If you are new to prepping or would like to learn more about how to prepare for tomorrow, please read our 7 Step Preparedness Plan. Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
