Frank and I discuss the importance of diet and exercise as well as the benefits of eliminating addictions before the stuff hits the fan. Take it from someone who has been sober for 9 years, there is never a good time to go through withdraws, especially not when the world is falling apart. If you are struggling with addiction, take it on now while you still have the  other creature comforts of our modern world. If you don’t know where to start, go to the contact page,  e-mail me and I will be happy to point you in the right direction.

We  discuss the wisdom of avoiding items like cigarettes and alcohol as barter items. Depending on these types of items for barter in a TEOTWAWKI  scenario will attract all the wrong people to your area of operation. Those relationships may jeopardize your safety and the safety of your family. People who are dealing with addictions when the collapse occurs will expand their resources to make sure their addictions are satisfied. Once those resources are depleted, they will be hungover and hungry. Once desperation overtakes them, they know exactly where to go for food, because they have seen your stockpile when they were trading with you for alcohol and cigarettes.

We talk about some practical steps you can take to keep your mind calm in stressful situations. We also talk about the importance of being spiritually prepared.
