And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?  And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it [is] no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither [is] there any water to drink.

Numbers 20:4-5

After the Israelites chose fear over faith and refused to take the promised land as instructed by God, they were left to wander in a desolate land which had sparse resources. Because of their disobedience they were punished by being left to wander in the desert. Despite the fact that their predicament was due to their own poor choices, that didn’t stop them from blaming God.

When we sin, we have to accept the consequences. This is true on a personal level and on a national level. As a society, we have rejected God. Four decades ago, we tossed prayer and the Bible out of the classroom. We replaced it with an atheistic world view propagated through Darwinism. Darwinism teaches survival of the fittest and tells us that we are all animals. Forty years later, we have massive issues with school bullying and violence in the same schools that God has been evicted from. It’s senseless to ask how God could allow such a thing when we wanted nothing to do with him. After all, aren’t these children expressing the Darwinian morals they’ve been taught?

If you are a parent, I strongly encourage you to make every effort to educate your children outside of the public school system. You can’t  send your kids to Caesar and not expect to have them turned into Romans.

As a society, I believe we are beginning to reap what we’ve sown. The new bathroom rules allowing men to use women’s bathrooms will be abused to sexually assault girls and women. Please encourage your wives, daughters and sisters to get their concealed weapons permits, train with their firearms and be vigilant.

And when all of these horrific things happen, remember it’s not God’s fault. It’s the consequences of our own sin in forsaking him.

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
