Faith

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Hebrew 1:1

Faith. It is an integral part of the Christian life. Without it, we are doomed to worry about the future and wonder if we’ll make it. With it, we can be sure that God has our back as long as we do our best and honor him. In these uncertain times, that can be a tremendous source of peace. Looking at the way our government wastes money, disregards the Constitution and oppresses Christian values, I could get very out of sorts if I didn’t have faith. Does that mean I can sit back in my easy chair and let God handle everything? Not at all. True faith produces action. If I tell you “your house is on fire”, your actions will tell me whether or not you put any faith in my words. If you nod your head, sit back on the couch and say “preach it brother”, it’s not a sign of faith in action.

Likewise, when we read what God has promised in his Word for rebellious, obstinate nations like America, our faith should produce action. If you read Deuteronomy 28 and don’t see the need to prepare because you have “faith”, it might be time to reexamine your understanding of the word.

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
