Today, we pick up where we left off last week, drawing parallels between America and ancient Israel from Isaiah chapter 1.

Verse 23: Thy princes are rebellious,

Despite being educated as a constitutional attorney our present prince has led the way in open rebellion against multiple constitutional amendments including:

The 2nd amendment via his latest executive action which infringes on private citizens’ abilities to buy and sell guns in a private transaction.

The 9th and 10th amendments via Obamacare which usurps the authority of the states and forces citizens to purchase a private product.

The 5th, 6th and 8th via the 2012 NDAA which contained clauses granting provisions for indefinite detention of US citizens, without being charged, granted trial or bail.

The 4th by the administration’s protection of the 2008 FISA amendments which allow warrantless surveillance of US citizens through email, voIP services like skype, and social media.

Other rebellious princes include this administration’s former AG who sold guns to Mexican drug lords, his former Secretary of State who is facing an indictment,

And this administration’s two newly appointed Supreme Court Justices, both of whom have rebelled against God’s definition of marriage.

Verse 23b: and companions of thieves:

Jon Corzine of MF global was close to the Obama administration and served no jail time for illegally sweeping customer accounts into the company’s proprietary trading account of which he lost millions.

Verse 23c: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

The lobby industry which largely operates on K Street in Washington DC spent 3.5 billion in 2014. If you divide that by the president, vice-president and both houses of congress it comes out to $6.5 million each.

24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

Despite the people who refused to listen to Jeremiah and threw him into a cistern,

Despite the king who shredded the writings of Ezekiel and tossed them into the fire,

Despite the world leaders who ignored the prophecies of Isaiah,

God’s day of reckoning came. It came for the northern kingdom of Israel.

It came for the southern kingdom of Judah

It came for Assyria, for Babylon, for Cush, Egypt and Tyre.

And after slaying 60 million children,

after defying the covenant of marriage,

after kicking God out of School and out of the courtroom,

And nearly kicking him out of the church,

Despite the false prophets who say the economy is booming, despite our military and despite our influence around the world,

God’s day of reckoning will most certainly come for America.

With ancient Israel, God’s judgement was not to utterly destroy them or wipe them off of the face of the earth.

But to purge away their dross and their backsliding, it was a painful experience for Israel, but it brought them back to pure worship of their Creator.

Proverbs 22:3 says A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

If you believe the Bible and you believe America’s day of reckoning is near, it makes sense to brace for the impact.

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
