“And you are to love those who are aliens, for you yourselves were aliens in Egypt.”

There is a lot of anger surrounding the crisis on our southern border, and rightfully so. Although, in our fury, we must be careful to blame only those responsible for the debacle. The ones to blame are the people we have elected to abide by the Constitution and defend our borders. A simple fence would have solved most of the issues we are facing. That could be completed at a fraction of the cost of maintaining any one of the US military bases stationed in 130 countries around the world.

A small reduction in the TSA agents that grope and fondle you at the airport could easily fund a perimeter fence along the Mexican border. Rather than paying perverted TSA agents for gawking at our naked body scans, we could be funding more border patrol agents. They would actually support the Constitution by defending our borders rather than violating it by performing warrantless searches on air travelers.

Why don’t we take these simple steps? Because it has nothing to do with security and everything to do with control. If you find yourself angry at the children flooding across the border rather than your own government who has built and maintained the welfare state that has made this such an attractive place to go for handouts, you’ve fallen right into their plan of Divide and Conquer.

This week, I challenge you to pray for the children who are so desperate as to risk everything to come to America. Pray that God will protect them from the gangs and sex trade predators mixed in among them. Pray that once they are here, they will embrace traditional American values of hard work rather than the swill fed to them by the liberal politicians facilitating this crisis for the advancement of their own agenda.

Primary elections are right around the corner. Find out when the primaries are for your state and start doing your homework now. You have to get involved at the ground level and find out where your state and local representatives stand on border security, welfare handouts, individual freedom, excessive military spending, surveillance, warrantless searches, the Patriot Act, indefinite detention and all of the atrocities that are plaguing our once great nation. If you don’t, you have no one to blame but yourself.

If you are new to prepping or would like to learn more about how to prepare for tomorrow, please read our 7 Step Preparedness Plan. Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
