“But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Revelations 21:8

Wow! Did you catch that? Cowards get the same punishment as murderers, the sexually immoral and liars. Does that mean it’s a sin to be afraid? Fear doesn’t make the coward. God will never blame you for an emotion you have no control over. Cowardliness is when we give into fear and let it dictate what our actions are. We all feel fearful when we see some of the headlines about the way patriots are often treated. I was afraid when I saw how the police treated the citizens of Watertown when they were searching for the Boston bombing suspects. Isn’t that backwards? Aren’t the police supposed to make us feel safe? Yet, what I saw terrified me.

I pray that nothing like that ever happens where I live, but we have to pray that God will give us discernment to make the right decisions and the courage to do the right thing if it ever does.

If you are new to prepping or would like to learn more about how to prepare for tomorrow, please read our 7 Step Preparedness Plan. Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
