Sunday Prepper Bible Study-The Choice
“Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.” Isaiah 1:17
I’ve received multiple messages and emails from readers and listeners who are still struggling with what to do on Tuesday. None of them are considering voting for her, but some are thinking about staying home. So I’m going to recap what I believe is the right course of action and why I believe it.
In the 60s, when the Bible and prayer were stripped out of the classroom and replaced with an atheistic wordview promoted via Darwinism, 93% of Americans self-identified as Christian.
In the 70s, when Roe v Wade was decided, 90% of Americans self-identified as Christian.
Even now, as homosexual marriage has become the law of the land by edict of the Supreme Court, 70% of Americans still self-identified as Christian. Under the current administration, men have been permitted to enter girls’ bathrooms, Monifa Sterling was court martialed over a Bible verse on her desk, Kim Davis was incarcerated for refusing to participate in a homosexual religious ceremony, Sweet Cakes Bakery was sued out of business for the same offense, Coach Joe Kennedy was relieved of his duties for praying on the field, and the Mayor of Houston subpoenaed the sermons of pastors to make sure they did not contain what she considered to be hate speech.
Edmund Burke said the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. I think that best explains how our country has fallen so far despite the statistics I’ve cited.
Isaiah 1:17 says, “Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.” I can think of no better example of the fatherless that need defending than the 3,288 children that are murdered each day in abortion mills around America. That daily-recurring number is larger than the combined death toll of 9/11, Sandy Hook, as well as the Orlando, Dallas, and San Bernardino shootings.
It’s true, Trump is a sexual deviant and promoter of vice through his casinos, night clubs and strip clubs. It is a disgrace and absolute failure on the part of the Church that we allowed him to gain the nomination over men like Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee. But, American pulpits were largely silent during the primaries and we’ve gotten what we settled for.
With that said, Clinton is criminally insane, on par with a villain from the next Batman movie. But, to get to the point, let’s ignore the lies she’s told over her emails, and the hundreds of millions she stole from the Clinton Foundation.
In the last debate, she pledged to select Supreme Court Justices, of which there could be as many as four during her administration, who will uphold Roe v Wade and the gay marriage ruling. Trump vowed to nominate justices which would strike down both. This simple fact should be enough to make this election a slam-dunk decision for any professing Christian.
I pray you’ll consider all of this when making your choice on Tuesday.
Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war, or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! “Sexual Deviant”? How exactly (unless you consider contraception as grave sin). Does he promote vice? He did, but how do churches measure up against the 50+ million dead babies from abortion?
TZ, Like I’ve said since the primaries, I’m voting for Trump because he is way better than Hillary. But, on Judgment day, we’ll all be held to account by God’s standard; it won’t be how we preformed compared to the apostate American Church. Those pastors will have to answer for their dereliction of duty, and Trump will have to answer for his casinos which rob people by appealing to their greedy nature, his bars which promote alcoholism and promiscuity, and Scores, his strip club which peddles the bodies of women as objects of lust, promoting pornography, adultery, and fornication. We’re on the same team here. I’m voting for the man and I think everyone else should too, but don’t expect me to lionize a man that is still activly involved in all of this perversion and wickedness.
And any one who says “grab them by the *#@&/” is a sexual deviant. That can’t be dismissed as permissible behaviour, locker room talk or not. Yes, we’ve all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but his continued interest in the above businesses show a lack of true repentance.
