Sunday Prepper Bible Study-What is Your Excuse For Not Believing?
“Since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.”
People have all sorts of reasons for not believing in God. Some folks say that if there were a God, bad things wouldn’t happen. That is a shallow excuse; bad things happen because humans decide to disobey God. Others say if there were a God, we would be able to see him. That too is a shallow excuse. We can’t see the wind, yet we feel it, we see the effects of the wind and even hear it whispering through the tree tops.
Complexity is evidence of design. No one looks at a watch and says it came to be on its own through a process over billions ans billions of years. Though we have never seen the creator of the watch, the complexity in its design tells us that it was indeed created by someone.
As we look at the complexity of the physical universe, it is impossible to believe that it simply happened by itself. We know there was a Divine Designer.
If you are new to prepping or would like to learn more about how to prepare for tomorrow, please read our 7 Step Preparedness Plan. The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.
Have a blessed week and happy prepping!
