Sunday Prepper Bible Study-Song of Solomon 2:15
Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.
Song of Solomon 2:15
Have you ever noticed that we tend to cruise right over the big challenges in life? When we lose a job, when we experience the death of a loved one or any number of horrific things happen to us, we have no where else to turn to but God. Immediately, when disaster strikes, we run into his arms and are comforted.
Why don’t we go straight to him when the little things happen? When we have a disagreement with our spouse, when we get a flat tire or burn the lasagna? Yes, we’ll still be responsible for reconciling with our better half, getting out the spare or figuring out another dish for dinner, but God is there to offer peace in those circumstances just as he is in the big trials.
When we ask, he fills us with his spirit which causes us to bear fruit. And, in Galatians, we read that the fruit of the spirit is peace, love, joy, patience, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. If your vineyard is lacking in any of these fruits, find the little foxes that are holding you back and ask God to help you with it.
Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.
Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
