Today’s show topic comes from a question from Steven C. I talk about some lessons learned down on the farm. Since Steven’s question was read on the air, he won a code for a free audiobook from Audible. Congratulations, Steven C!
Email your questions for June’s show to prepperrecon@gmail.com. If I pick your question to read on the air, you’ll be the next winner.

I have grown watermelons, specifically the sugar baby variety, in clay soil before. I mixed a couple shovel fulls of potting soil from my tomato plant pots in that area as well; it wasn’t very big only enough for two hills. I also put a handful of worms from my worm farm in that area of the garden. Those hills produced five melons for the season. The melons did a lot better than my attempts at growing potatoes lol.
What are some of the best prepper how to books you can recommend?
