Sunday Prepper Bible Study- The Mind of Christ
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
I Corinthians 2:16
Sometimes it’s obvious that a political figure or church leader is headed in the wrong direction. But at other times, we can be hypnotized by their crafty words. In many instances, they can be right on point with a large portion of their message. It’s very difficult to not get caught in the trap of routing for them when they support a personal favorite cause. Yet, we have to look at the whole picture. Over and over, the Bible tells us that we can tell a tree by its fruit. If that apple tree in your front yard is covered in oranges, I’ve got news for you. It ain’t an apple tree.
This week, pray that God will grant you the mind of Christ that you might more closely follow his will. Also ask for discernment in recognizing the mind of Christ in others. And remember, if the wolf didn’t wear sheep’s clothing, he’d be an awful skinny wolf.
