Is Notre Dame Fire a Warning from God?
Under the Edict of Thessolinica by Theodosius I, the worship of the Virgin Mary as co-redemtrix began when Christianity was fused with ancient Babylonian deities like the original queen of heaven, Semiramis. Millions of Christian children will honor her under one of her names, Eostre, (pronounced Easter) via fertility rites by coloring eggs in Christian churches all over America this Sunday. Could God be telling us something by burning down the most famous church in the world? Notre Dame, when translated into English means Our Lady.
Hip Hip Hooray! Brother! Chastisement is never easy! Yehova( Our Father ) has been in many ways is getting our attention. May it be through loss, tragedy & destruction. We must be a people with a completed heart thatt is open & with ears to hear to what the Father is saying to us. Father being god himself However, tragedy come to everyone; the sun shines & the rain falls down on the just & unjust alike.
Mark,
I agree. There are many things that we, as Christians, flow with the culture on in ignorance. We are responsible to know the truth and act accordingly. And, when we stand back and look at this world from God’s perspective, we find a world that we should push farther and farther from.
What is wrong with you?
So next time you or your family or friends have some terrible tragedy, are you going to pick them apart and say God is judging them and they must have been awful pagans or demon worshippers?
Do you celebrate the deaths of people, even those who weren’t quite prepared or were but not for things like being shot at from a high place at a country concert?
Exploiting tragedy for some kind of theological schaudenfreude isn’t showing God’s love or mercy, only your pride.
The manner of celebrating holidays and origins of some Christian practices are perfectly reasonable to bring up and debate.
But NEVER at a time of tragedy, loss, and destruction while the Devil is cheering.
It’s just a building. Not a mass casualty shooting. And I didn’t say God is judging anyone. I simply asked if He’s trying to get our attention. In case you’ve never read the Books of Prophecy, which make up about a third of the Bible, tragedy and destruction in order to wake up a wayward nation is pretty much the central theme. Don’t shoot the messenger.
