Sunday Prepper Bible Study- Liberty

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

Today’s Bible verse is about liberty in your spirit. It is about being free from your struggle to be good enough for God or good enough for yourself. It is about freedom and liberty that transcends anything that could be fought for or won in this world. In this life, we will always be subject to the tyranny of death, temptation and pain, but in the world to come, we will truly be free. When we focus on that, we find a liberty in our spirit that can’t be taken away by the NSA, DHS,TSA, NDAA, IRS or an other act or organization.

Does that mean we should quit fighting for freedom on this earth? Absolutely not. We are persevering not only for ourselves, but also for our families and posterity. We are fighting to maintain the freedom to speak of true liberty. Stay focused on the true liberty of the Spirit, and you’ll never feel like you’re fighting a losing battle, because you’ve already won!
