Josiah tells us how he woke up to the need to prepare when he was serving in the military in Afghanistan. The preparedness movement is much more common amongst those who have served over seas. They do not suffer from the same level of normalcy bias that other Americans do. They have seen with their own two eyes what it looks like for a society after it has hit the fan.
Josiah also recently started an internship with Jack Spirko of The Survival Podcast. Josiah tells us what he has been learning about permaculture and what new projects he has been working on at Jack’s new homestead.
