Today’s guest is Cindy Thompson. Cindy and her husband Jim are the organizers of the “Life Changes, Be Ready” Preparedness and Gun Expo that is being held in Lakeland, FL this November 2nd and 3rd. Cindy tells us who some of the guests will be at this expo. Cindy and I talk about the potential causes for an economic collapse in today’s show also. We look at the behavior of the government in their ammunition stockpiling efforts and large purchases of armored vehicles for domestic agencies and question what they are preparing for.
Cindy gives us her insight on taking care of ourselves in the face of continued downward spiral. As municipalities face bankruptcies like we saw in Detroit, 911 response time continues to grow longer. Detroit’s response time for high priority calls is 58 minutes. Cindy explains the need to be able to defend yourself in a violent break in scenario. She explains that purchasing a firearm is not enough. Cindy stresses the need to train with your weapon.
