Sunday Prepper Bible Study- Bad Company
1 Corinthians 5:11-13 “But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.”
1 Corinthians 5:11-13
In the first video, you’ll see David Jeremiah, Robert Jeffress and a host of other big-name pastors praying over Trump. Notice, they are not praying that he will repent from owning bars, nightclubs, casinos and the infamous Scores strip club, which effectively degrades women to be objects that can be bought and sold, but rather these prominent men are praying that God will bless Trump and essentially grant him the Republican nomination. Jerry Falwell Jr has also used his position at Liberty University to endorse Trump and provide a platform for him to reach more evangelicals.
In the second video, Trump claims to be a Christian. Keeping today’s verse in mind, we can’t see inside Trump’s heart to say whether he is an idolater who puts money above God, but we can say he promotes covetousness, drunkenness and fornication through his casinos, bars, and strip clubs. Today’s verse says we should not keep company with such a person. If your pastor fellowships with such men, he is not obeying God’s Word which says “put away from among yourselves that wicked person.” You need to carefully consider if you are in the right church.
Don’t get me wrong, if Trump gets the nomination, I’ll be up before the sun to go vote for him. Given the alternatives, I’d vote for Darth Vader over Hilary or Comrade Bernie.
It’s not the lesser of two evils, you are literally sending someone into a room for the next four years with a hole puncher and the Constitution. You better do everything you can to make sure the guy with the smallest hole puncher is the one who ends up in that room. It’s a sad commentary on wholesale American Christianity and Conservatism though, that Trump is the front runner.
Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.
Have a blessed day and happy prepping!

Agreed sir, but listen to Trump’s own words, totally committed to abortion, including partial birth, the one thing he says he will keep from Obamacare is single payer (he is going to repeal Obamacare and replace with Trumpetcare), and the first person he said he would nominate to Supreme Court is his sister, who is a committed leftist and pro-abortion (now claims that was a joke, but who knows with him). That doesn’t even begin to cover his border wall which will require eminent domain to take away vast amounts of personal property, not to mention that he knows the Mexicans won’t pay for it, so he lies every time he states that he will make them pay. Therefore, anyone who votes for Trump is supporting partial birth abortions, single payer, eminent domain, and who knows what for Supreme Court. I will vote for Trump under one condition, he declares that he will nominate Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Trey Gowdy to the Supreme Court.
It’s a dark day in America when our choices are so dismal.
Hello,
After nearly 8 years of Obama, I don’t believe that we can say nothing will get done on a future communist’s watch. I in no way support Trump and sincerely believe that he has no core values. It would be hard for me to pull the lever for him, but as you say, the alternative is very dark indeed.
Our best hope is for Christ to return before November. 😉
My apologies for this morning, I was very disgusted with the results of the vote in SC, my state. I couldn’t pull the lever for Shrillary, Bernie, or Trump. I will write in a name, I cannot in good conscience vote for Donald Trump, nor could I look in the mirror if I voted for either of the two socialists.
On a lighter note, if Christ is going to come before November, you need to get to work on the sequels for The Days of Noah!!
Then, folks left behind can just read the morning paper. There’d be no need for The Days of Elijah. ;o But thanks for the support. 🙂
I registered Republican in 1978, my 18th birthday. Went on the serve 20 years in the Navy, and voted Republican every time except for two occasions. Have to say that if Trump wins the nomination, this will be another exception. I will vote for Bernie before Trump, because at least nothing will be done on Bernie’s watch.
Herb,
Maybe not, but you’d be supporting partial birth abortions, a single payer healthcare system, and putting the choice of who knows how many Supreme Court Justices into the hands of a communist. It might be better to stay home than go vote for Bernie.
