Sunday Prepper Bible Study- Enemy of the State
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.”
Acts 5:29
In case you’ve been under a rock, it is now not only illegal to practice your Christian faith, it is an arrestable offence. Ashland, Kentucky Clerk of Courts was detained by US Marshals and imprisoned for refusing to issue a marriage licence to sodomites last week. Start mentally preparing yourself for the persecution that is coming on those who dare to profess the name of Jesus. That battle line has been drawn.
You may also be court-martialed for daring to display Bible verses in your work area if you are in the US military and fighting for our freedom. Lance Corporal Monifa Sterling was criminally prosecuted for displaying “No weapon formed against me shall prosper,” on her desk and refusing to remove it when asked by a sergeant. After being expelled from the Marine Corp, she finds it difficult to get work because of the dishonorable discharge on her record.
If you are still going to a church that thinks nothing bad can ever happen here, you need to find greener pastures. You need a good church, so if you have to leave yours because they don’t preach the Word, don’t go fishing on Sunday, pray for a better church to attend. God will lead you to a good church or give you the resources to start your own.
And remember, you are the church. Caring for widows and orphans and standing up for the rights of your fellow Christian is not someone else’s job. If you tithe to a church that is actively involved in carrying out all of this work, praise God. If not, consider allocating a portion of your tithe to the Liberty Counsel, the non-profit group defending Kim Davis. This case will establish precedent for the incarceration of believers because of their faith. So, if you chose to sit back and watch this one from the sidelines, you may watch the next case from a jail cell.
If you believe in the Bible and plan to live according to it, you are now a criminal. You need to start thinking like a criminal and developing your underground network so you’ll be able to connect with other felons to worship in secret. Start squirreling away contraband as well. One day, the only Bible you’ll be able to get a hold of will be the state-approved translation which will be unrecognizable by a true follower of Christ.
Have a blessed day and happy prepping!

Good point about storing away the current Bible. It’s another reason why I like to keep my paper Bibles, even though the Bible on the tablet is so handy. Amazon has already demonstrated they have the ability to reach out and delete items from the kindle. With paper they can’t!
