See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

Ephesians 5:15-18

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. No one can argue the accuracy of the last part of that statement, but what does it mean to redeem the time? As we watch 2015 slip into the history books, and look forward into 2016, it’s obvious we can’t buy back the past year. The decisions made in the days gone by are etched in stone and nothing can be done to change them. The only time that is redeemable is the time in the future. For whatever the reason, much of the time in 2016 may already be slated for waste and foolishness. Fortunately, that CAN be changed! It’s this very concept that inspires nearly half of all Americans to make a New Year’s Resolution, becuase we are of the stock that look to the future with optimism and hope, even though the days are indeed evil.

I pray that you will resolve to strengthen your relationship with God, gaining his wisdom to endure the evil days we live in.

In an effort to help redeem the time, Prepper Recon will be adding a new program on Friday nights to replace the slot left vacant by our previous Friday Night at the Movies. It will be called Faith and Freedom Fridays and will be available as podcast to stream or download. It will feature recent messages from Pastor Clifton Cooley.

After many years of praying and searching for a pastor that understands America’s social, economic, and political problems and how evicting God from our country has brought those problems about, my wife and I finally found Pastor Cooley, a true man of God and a dedicated patriot. Trying to be obedient to the scriptures and remain in fellowship with other believers, we have been in and out of several other churches while we searched for one that could be our home. We feel like we have found that in Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian, FL.

While attending Pastor Cooley’s church for several weeks, the thought struck me; how many other faithful patriot preppers out there are having trouble finding a good church? How many other Christians are enduring feel-good, cotton-candy sermons and feel like they are wasting time in these evil days just so they can be in fellowship with other believers?

So, I’ll be publishing Pastor Cooley’s messages of faith and freedom each Friday, to help you to walk not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time in 2016.

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!
