E-Verify- Infrastructure for The Police State

Regardless of where you stand on immigration, all patriots should oppose the immigration bill as it now stands. The bill has passed the Senate and is now heading to the House for approval. Just as we had the indefinite detention clause buried in the 2012 NDAA, the immigration bill also has sinister components hidden deep within. The immigration bill contains a mandatory e-verify clause.

The Patriot act, as we all remember, was going to be just a little encroachment upon our freedom that would delivers us from the hand of foreign invaders that were intent on killing every American. 12 years later, we watch powerlessly as our wives and daughters are groped by the hands of depraved TSA agents. We bow our heads in defeat as we are treated as criminals, being frisked, scanned and having our personal effects riffled through at every airport. Now, the TSA is setting up shop monitoring Americas highways. This is all to save us from an enemy that doesn’t exist. Your chances of being killed by terrorism is 1 in 20,000,000.

We also suffer horrific encroachments upon our privacy. As Edward Snowden warned us, the NSA tracks your every phone call, e-mail, Google search and Facebook post. This, of course, is also for our own good. We are told what size soda we can drink and how many bullets we can have in our guns. All in the name of keeping us safe.

Mandatory E-Verify now rides in on a white horse to free us from those who would steal our jobs. The DHS program promises to maintain a data base that will ensure everyone working in America has been confirmed by the Federal Government. I feel better already. Have you ever heard the horror story of anyone who was wrongly placed on a no fly list? I have. Now, imagine yourself on a ‘no work’ list. Of course these things do happen, by mistake of course. It often seems that these things happen disproportionately to those who are dissidents or hold views that oppose those of the administration.

E-verify is another tool in the hand of a growing police state that has proven it will use IRS audits to target those opposed to the administration, DOJ wire tapping to suppress the free press, and collect as much data as possible on all of its citizens. It gives more power to an out of control Federal Government who has proved they are incapable of defending our rights and hold nothing but contempt for the Constitution.

E-verify will mandate a tamper resistant Social Security card which will require biometrics data to be collected on all US citizens. It will give the Federal Government the ability to grant or deny your humble plea to gain employment. It will add compliance costs to the expenses of employers, which will destroy the very jobs it claims to protect.

E-verify will be another method for your government to control you and keep a watchful eye upon your every move. Once you are loaded into the cattle car, it is too late to speak out. Please let your Representative know that you do not support the immigration bill because of the mandatory e-verify clause.
