In The Days of Noah, Book Three: Perdition, a global empire arises  from the ashes of the world that was. The emerging order is unified by a new global currency and a single world religion which are mandated by an imposed UN treaty.  Noah Parker’s family refuses to take the IMF implant required for buying and selling in the new  system, and are hunted down like common criminals for daring to resist the state. Noah will have to rely on faith and wits to endure the powers of darkness which are quickly consuming the earth.

Sunday Prepper Bible Study-Being Seeker Friendly

seeker

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

John 6:53-56

Do you ever feel like Jesus didn’t get the memo on the seeker-friendly movement? The statement he made in today’s verse sounds flat out crazy to me. Eat your flesh? Drink your blood? Likewise, many of his followers couldn’t take it. John 6:66 says that many of his disciples gave up on him that day. And what about the unchurched? Could you imagine bringing your neighbor to hear this guy, Jesus, speak? After all the time you’d spent cultivating them so they’d finally come to church with you, now he says we have to drink his blood and eat his flesh. He had to know that attendance would fall off after such a statement. Couldn’t he have polished that message? Perhaps refined the delivery a bit? Or softened the blow with some humor? The bottom line is, he didn’t.

Later on in the chapter, he asks the 12 disciples who still remained. “Will ye also go away?”

Even though, in verse 63, he told them, “The words I speak unto you are spirit, and they are life,” the explanation went soaring over their heads.

Peter didn’t understand what Jesus meant. He was just as confused as any of us would have been. But, he chose to stay anyway. He answered Jesus by saying, “Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.”

When you don’t understand everything that Jesus says, when his message is nowhere near what we think of as seeker-friendly, are you willing to accept that his ways are higher than our ways? Do you have the faith to stick by his side because you are sure that he is the Christ, the Son of the living God?

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Jesus said “what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his own soul?” Prepper translation: “What good will it do you to survive the coming economic collapse, nuclear war or even a zombie apocalypse if you don’t know you will go to heaven when you die.” A recent study found that 10 out of 10 people die! On that day we will meet our Maker. It only makes sense to be prepared for that day. Click here to learn more about knowing GOD.

Have a blessed day and happy prepping!

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15

After many years of praying and searching for a pastor that understands America’s social, economic, and political problems and how evicting God from our country has brought those problems about, my wife and I finally found Pastor Cooley, a true man of God and a dedicated patriot.

While attending Pastor Cooley’s church for several weeks, the thought struck me; how many other faithful patriot preppers out there are having trouble finding a good church and are enduring feel-good, cotton-candy sermons  just so they can be in fellowship with other believers?

In an effort to help redeem the time in these evil days, Faith and Freedom Fridays, is available as a podcast to stream or download featuring recent messages from patriotic  Bible teachers like Pastor Clifton Cooley of  Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian, FL.

If you happen to be in the Sebastian, FL area, please come worship with us every Sunday at 11:00 AM and Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. 123 Thunderbird Drive, Sebastian, Florida  32958

Sunday Prepper Bible Study-Redeeming the Time

on December 27, 2015 at 8:25 am
Posted In: Bible

start

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

Ephesians 5:15-18

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. No one can argue the accuracy of the last part of that statement, but what does it mean to redeem the time? As we watch 2015 slip into the history books, and look forward into 2016, it’s obvious we can’t buy back the past year. The decisions made in the days gone by are etched in stone and nothing can be done to change them. The only time that is redeemable is the time in the future. For whatever the reason, much of the time in 2016 may already be slated for waste and foolishness. Fortunately, that CAN be changed! It’s this very concept that inspires nearly half of all Americans to make a New Year’s Resolution, becuase we are of the stock that look to the future with optimism and hope, even though the days are indeed evil.

I pray that you will resolve to strengthen your relationship with God, gaining his wisdom to endure the evil days we live in.

In an effort to help redeem the time, Prepper Recon will be adding a new program on Friday nights to replace the slot left vacant by our previous Friday Night at the Movies. It will be called Faith and Freedom Fridays and will be available as podcast to stream or download. It will feature recent messages from Pastor Clifton Cooley.

After many years of praying and searching for a pastor that understands America’s social, economic, and political problems and how evicting God from our country has brought those problems about, my wife and I finally found Pastor Cooley, a true man of God and a dedicated patriot. Trying to be obedient to the scriptures and remain in fellowship with other believers, we have been in and out of several other churches while we searched for one that could be our home. We feel like we have found that in Calvary Baptist Church, Sebastian, FL.

While attending Pastor Cooley’s church for several weeks, the thought struck me; how many other faithful patriot preppers out there are having trouble finding a good church? How many other Christians are enduring feel-good, cotton-candy sermons and feel like they are wasting time in these evil days just so they can be in fellowship with other believers?

So, I’ll be publishing Pastor Cooley’s messages of faith and freedom each Friday, to help you to walk not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time in 2016.

Come back every Sunday for a new Prepper Bible Study! The most important prep of all is knowing GOD. Sponsored Post-What to Hoard

Sponsored Post-What to Hoard for When It Hits the Fan

If you have decided that it is high time for you to start saving up for the end of the world and the coming apocalypse, congratulations are in order. You are joining a very exclusive club of preppers the world over.

When you start preparing for this eventuality, you may be inclined to buy gold and silver to barter with when it all goes to hell. This is actually a great idea, but there are plenty of other thinks that you can stock up on. The list can range into the thousands, and nobody can afford to buy that many items, much less find storage space for them.

To avoid getting lost in the enormous list of things to store, you can try going back to the bare essentials for survival. This way you can make sure that the checklist of basic survival and barter items are ticked off.

After this is done, you can dedicate your time to stockpiling the non-essentials. Here is a list of some items you should give priority to, after you have gone through the basics such as non-perishable food, water filters and a couple of weapons and ammo.

The basics of bartering

Not sure what it means to barter? The barter/bartering system is actually quite easy to understand. It involves the purchase of particular items or goods / services from another person without using money. Instead, you exchange the good or service that you want with one that you are offering of similar value.

A great example, if you were to have many crops in your garden and your neighbor has a ton of chickens in theirs, you could trade some tomatoes for some eggs every morning. Money wouldn’t be changing hands but the goods would. This is a prime example of the barter system in action.

Below are three things you might not think about when saving up things to barter.

Non-Perishable Food

Canned food is a good example of this. Any food items that can be kept for years without an expiry date fall into this category too. You need to make sure that you have the right items to help you get through the experience in one piece. Make sure that you also stack a can opener or two in there. The last thing you want is to be surrounded by cans of food without a way to open them up.

Soap

Speaking of disinfectant, soap is going to be incredibly useful when the world goes up in flames. It is integral to basic personal hygiene. In addition to smelling like a skunk, you are going to be more vulnerable to infection and disease if you aren’t cleaning yourself properly.

Remember that there isn’t going to be any new medicine coming in, which means that you are going to have to ration all that Tylenol and Aspirin for a real emergency. When going out and buying that soap, get something that is anti-germ such as Lysol or Dettol.

Can opener

You need to have this in your stockpile at all costs. If you don’t, you are basically going to be stuck in a bunker surrounded by canned foods, fruits and meat, without a way to open them up and eat.

Starving to death in a bunker full of food is tragically romantic, but you aren’t Shakespeare, so get yourself a good quality can opener immediately.

You don’t want something cheap that will rust and break in no time. Think about getting more than one, and make sure that they are stainless steel and of a good brand.

Of course, there are plenty of other items to stock up on. These are just three out of a thousand that should probably be higher on your list than the rest. Have fun and stay prepared!
